day nine

hey how are you doing this fine night? i am quite tired but i am staying awake to write you this blog of mine. so today was VBS again as you can see by my shirt, and it was an awesome day! there was this cute little kid in my 1st grade class that was like... well here was how it happened: the teacher guy said, "so none of you guys have any kids right?" (talking to little 1st and 2nd grade kids sarcastically) and this little boy in my class said, "i do! im married, and im 30, and shes my wife." (points to me) hahahaha i couldnt stop laughing. stinkin adorable! but yeah thats how my day was. pizza was pretty much my cuisine of the day. i had it for lunch and for dinner. you may be wondering, "chelsea, how in the world can you eat pizza with chopsticks without using any utensils?" and i say, "silly, silly amateur. the reason for friends is for them to cut up your food for you!" but yes, the picture about is a picture of my pizza in a cute little square shape. and for a snack after i had pizza for dinner, i even had a cheese stick with some chopsticks! and later on i had frozen yogurt with chopsticks and two people joined me in using chopsticks. it was a good feeling to know that im not the only one out there that uses chopsticks to eat fro yo.
P.S. Sara Sampey took the picture up tharrr! shes so G.

Day 8 (a little late) (clever that it rhymed)

hey e'rybody! yesterday was actually day 8 but i was pretty wiped out and just got knocked right out into my warm bed. but speaking of how clever i am, the title rhymed. the title rhymed well, and i'd really like to tell, about the day i had, that made me sufficiently glad. I went to VBS, and i slept a little less. i had my hair in pig tails, but never repainted my nails. i ate some salad with chopsticks, and i even took some sweet pics! for dinner i had a naked burrito, but it was not followed by a crispito.

day seven (you're awesome)

hey there good lookin!! well today i felt i would boost your self esteem. number one, youre awesome. do you wanna know why youre awesome? this is why, because you are reading this. number two, you are crazy! you are crazy because you are reading this. but im so happy you are reading this! it warms my heart to know that someone is reading my blog! what is this?! this is stinkin amazing. so just so you know.. i love you. like a friend, nothing creepy okay? but todays cuisine wasnt very exciting. and since im a young kid just ya know livin life as an almost senior in high school, with my parents, im pretty much living off of leftovers and whatnot. this means that what i ate today were repeats of what i have eaten in the past few days and is therefore the reason that i didnt post any pictures. sorry but you snooze, you looze.

Day six

hey hows it goin? this is probably one of chelsea's most often said phrases. that is because i say that every time someone comes into my work whether i know them or not. its funny to see the reactions of the people i dont know. they either say good and continue. or they look around bewildered and say nothing. or if they are one of the odd ones out they just look at you and laugh... yeah a guy around 27 years old did that to me the other day and i wasnt sure if i had just made a joke or if he thought it was humorous to ask him how it was going... i was pretty embarrassed but i was also unsure what i should be embarrassed about. but anyways again i had no breakfast, but i did have a huge dinner which i hate wholly by chopsticks and i even had someone cut me up a piece of cheesecake and i ate that with some chopsticks as well! yeah that was fun. im really starting to enjoy eating with chopsticks. no joke.

day five

hey whats up!? so i've realized how boring it is to know what someone eats all day e'ryday, so im just gonna say thanks to all those that have been reading this. it really means a lot to know that people actually care about chopsticks and how theyve changed my life. i as well would love to know how much chopsticks have changed your life. so if you wanna you can message me on facebook and tell me about how they changed your life. or comment. please do. im really in the mood to be inspired and YOU are the perfect factor. well today was nothing new except for the chips and salsa i ate with chopsticks. everything else was something ive already eaten before with chopsticks: fro yo... filipino food... sushi...
P.S. someone called me a poopdeck swabbing scalleywag today. so i swab poop eh? maybe im okay with that. maybe not.

Day Four

Hey everyone. Its Saturday and also day four of my chopstick challenge. Todays delicacies were especially interesting. I didn't have breakfast due to the fact that my stomach doesn't want food at 7:30 in the morning. But I did get some filipino food again. It was even better today. Oh man. I love my race. But yeah I tried something that many of you decided was an impossible task. I ate frozen yogurt with chopsticks. Unblended just plain ol' fro yo. I felt good about that one. Then I had a burger for dinner. The picture will explain it all.
Im. Tired.

Day 3

Hey gangsters! How has everything been with you? Well for me, its been pretty mediocre. Well my cuisine has been that is. And since this whole blog is about my hardships through my chopstick challenge I shall inform you of the hardships. Today I woke up on day three and really felt like I could eat some cereal for breakfast. Except there was one problem, spoons haven't been invented yet. At least for the Chinese. And that is why I skipped breakfast and decided to save my growing hunger for lunch. And let me tell you, lunch was phenomenal! Filipino food made by REAL filipinos. Not just halfies like me. FULLIES. So that pretty much sums up my food of today. Except I ate some finger foods with chopsticks. Tater Tots, and Chicken Nuggets. Thanks all for reading! They probably will get boring after awhile but I will try to spice things up. Stay hood.
P.S. - sorry I never had a chance to take a picture of my food today! I'll get on that.
P.P.S. - you're awesome
P.P.P.S. - I watched cars 2 today and this would totally make sense if you saw it.

Day Dos

Hey friends! Well, for those of you who don't speak Spanish, dos means two. Even if you don't speak Spanish, I'm guessing you all know what that means anyways. I bet all you kids can count to ten! Do you want a medal?! But anyways, today was fantastic in my adventure with my new best friend, my chopsticks. I'm thinking I should name them since I take them with me wherever I go. You know, like Chuck or something? Except that kind of makes me think of a clown. I think there was a play about it or something... But anyways, here are my meals of the day,
Breakfast: banana. Eaten and cut with chopsticks.
Lunch: Chinese food. Can't get easier than that to eat something with chopsticks.
Dinner: Macaroni salad. It was good, but could've been better.
So I've thought lately, what if there is a chopstick diet? I mean you have to choose wisely on what to eat so that it can be easily consumed with chopsticks, and then you get a hand workout from all of the chopstick use. Just a thought but... I might become a millionaire. I might even wanna become a billionaire...so frickin' bad.

Day 1

So some of you might be wondering, "Why chopsticks? Why now? Why Chef Boyardee?" Well, here is how it all began. I woke up this morning and didn't have any idea what I wanted to have for breakfast. So I went upstairs and checked for what we had to eat. I saw a can of Chef. And therefore I put it in the microwave for a minute and thirty seconds. As I was searching for a utensil to consume my Chef Boyardee, I came across the most amazing chopsticks I had ever seen. And then I ate. I ate and then I tweeted. And that motivated me to eat so many different things with chopsticks! My eyes were opened to a whole new world! One thing led to another and I am now committing myself to 30 days of eating everything with chopsticks. The rules are, I can only use chopsticks to eat food. No forks. No spoons. No knives. Its actually quite simple. No one drinks things with forks or spoons so I am allowed to drink beverages through a straw. Some of you are thinking, "Chelsea Yap, how are you going to eat frozen yogurt with chopsticks?" And I say, easy fix. it's called a blender.
Today I had for breakfast: Chef Boyardee, eaten with chopsticks. Lunch: Nothing, so no chopsticks needed. Snack: Frozen Yogurt, Blended, drinked with a straw. Dinner: Sushi, eaten with chopsticks.
